Dr. Dalton Wolfe, PhD

Scientist, Parkwood Institute
Assistant Professor, School of Health Studies, Western University

Dr. Wolfe leads the Research2Practice team, reflecting his passion for redefining how researchers work with practitioners and patients to generate knowledge while improving clinical outcomes. Primary research interests include knowledge mobilization and best-practice implementation in physical activity, therapy, and self-management. Outside work, Dalton enjoys music, nature, and curling.

Dr. Stephanie Marrocco, PhD

Lecturer, Western University
Research Coordinator, Parkwood Institute

Stephanie's research focuses on enhancing access and participation in physical activity through development, implementation and evaluation of adapted programming for persons with mobility challenges. Stephanie aims to promote high-quality programming and experiences in sport and exercise. Being a true northerner, Stephanie loves hockey, hiking, and camping.

Hannah Burns

Kinesiology Student, Western University
Para Athlete/Coach

Hannah is a Research Assistant with the AdaptAbility Team. As a passionate para athlete and coach, she brings first-hand experience to her work in improving access to para sport and physical activity for individuals with disabilities. Hannah has represented Canada in para swimming and now coaches in London.

Anum Qaiser

Health Sciences Student, Western University

Anum Qaiser is a fourth-year Health Sciences student at Western University with a strong interest in health equity, accessibility, and systems-level change. She has contributed blog pieces through the Possibilities Project Plus (PP+) and other platforms, writing about healthcare advocacy, accessibility, and the intersection of art and rehabilitation. Outside of academics, she enjoys traveling, photography, and creative design projects.

Dr. Laura Misener, PhD

Professor & Director, School of Kinesiology, Western University

Dr. Misener's research explores how sport and events can drive social change, especially by advancing community accessibility and social inclusion for persons with disabilities. Her community-based work emphasizes safe sport practices through strong governance, strategic policy, and a focus on human rights and social justice.

Alexandra Couto

MA Student, Kinesiology, Western University

Alexandra is a current Masters of Kinesiology student at Western University with a research focus on athlete identity during the transition out of sport, particularly during or following university graduation. Outside of her academic work, she is a multi-sport coach and enjoys being involved in projects that aim to benefit her community, with AdaptAbility London being one of them.

Keithan Sivapragasam

MHIS Student, Western University

Keithan is a returning work-study student with the AdaptAbility team. Keithan is currently working towards completing his thesis, which looks at physical activity levels in older adults in Canada. Keithan was a member of the Men's Cross-Country and Track and Field team at Western for several years and has served as the assistant coach for the London Western T&F Junior Development program since 2019.

Dr. M. Blair Evans, PhD

Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Western University

With training focused on social influences in physical activity, Dr. Evans brings a passion for applying psychological principles to real-life settings. Within disability sport, Dr. Evans collaborates with researchers, athletes, coaches, and leaders to understand and enhance an 'optimal' sport experience.

Adnan Shabbir

Research Assistant, Parkwood Institute

Adnan works with the Research2Practice Team, focusing on promoting physical activity among individuals with disabilities. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western University in 2025. Outside the lab, Adnan enjoys working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, playing tennis, and traveling.

Autumn Leitch

Kinesiology and Psychology Student, Western University. Student Operations Team

Autumn is pursuing a double major in Kinesiology and Psychology at Western University. As a member of the AdaptAbility team, she supports community outreach initiatives. She is creating environments where individuals feel supported, empowered, and included in movement. Outside of her studies, Autumn enjoys hiking, travelling, and staying active.
